"Like nature, Francis Benincà uses double curvature to find resistance.
He organizes the material into curved, aerial structures, both imposing and light.
Sometimes climbing plants adorn, shape and flower his sculptures, in complete freedom.
He bends, braids, and weaves steel, particularly in the form of rebar. In his hands, this rather unattractive material becomes very delicate and poetic."

“As a teenager I built bubble houses with my father, Antonio Benincà.
With him I learned the curve.
Today I work with minimal structures, clean lines, objects with resistance of form."
