"Francis Benincà quickly became a lover of curves when he accompanied his father to the construction sites of the famous bubble houses. It was his first contact with volume, nature, and reinforcement (the soul and skeleton of the construction). Building is his heritage as "a way of existing." The fiber that resonates. The brush facing the place, the terrain, the mineral. His monumental sculptures each have a name, geometric, botanical, or dreamlike: you are aboard the Octopus, passengers of the rose garden arbors and bubble villages. At the center of a rocket, a whale, or a hyperbolic paraboloid. Other sculptors use stones, wood, leaves; the approach remains the same: Francis Benincà questions the common dimension of men and their environment. Each of the metal frames he builds is then an invitation to flowers, light, and plants." Cécile EVEN
